Words Inside My Mind

As a young girl I always had a love for poetry. I never thought about putting my words down on paper until my daughter was three years old. She scribbled some lines on two small sheets from a note pad and said "mom here are two letters". That was thirty four years ago and my first poem was Two Little Letters.

Sometime I would be doing housework and a poem would come to me and I would write it down on a napkin or a paper bag. Writing made me relax so two or three in the morning was my best time to write when my mind was fresh.

That is how I started writing poetry. Because of my daughter I began writing poetry and now she has me blogging.
